Two GMG Radio owned stations have been nominated for NTL Awards, which recognise excellence in commercial radio programming.
Real Radio in Yorkshire is short-listed for the Social Action Initiative Award for its Walk A Mile in My Shoes campaign, which aimed to generate greater understanding for refugees in the local community.
The Group?s Smooth Digital brand is in the running for the ntl Commercial Radio Digital Station of the Year Award. Smooth broadcast on digital throughout 2003 before the launch of Smooth FM in the North West of England in March this year.
GMG Radio Group Programme Director John Simons said: ?It?s been a year of awards for our stations and once again we are delighted to have been recognised with two further nominations.?
The Award winners will be unveiled at a ceremony in London on Friday 25th June.
