Planet Rock nominated as best station for NTL awards

Planet Rock has been nominated for the NTL Commercial Digital Radio Station of the Year 2004.

The NTL awards seek to recognise excellence in presentation, marketing, and programming of commerical stations and take place on the 25th June.

Planet Rock is nominated along with two other commerical digital radio stations for station of the year, and Manager, Pascal Grierson, is very excited: “Planet Rock is the UK’s most listened to commerical digital radio station – so its already number one! We are dedicated to delivering classic rock, and feel we deserve this nomination. We work hard to produce a fantastic station featuring great rock legends and live rock sets from some of the most influential artists.

We hope the judges will recognise that when choosing the winner.”

Last year Core won the NTL Commerical Radio Technical Innovation Award, and Oneword Radio won the NTL Commercial Digital Radio Station of the Year, so Planet Rock would make it a hat trick for national commerical digital radio!
