Nineteen applications for Manchester city FM licence

Ofcom has received 19 applications for the new city-wide Manchester FM licence.

At closing date yesterday, the industry expected upto a dozen applications. However nearly 20 companies are battling it out for what could be the last Manchester FM licence for years.
