Industry award for FIRE 107.6

The NEW FIRE 107.6FM in Bournemouth has just picked up The Radio Academy’s Nations and Regions Award for the South West 2005.

The station was presented with the award at the BBC in Bristol on Wednesday 18th January. The award recognises radio stations across the UK with a TSA of under 300,000 people.

Paul Gerrard, Programme Controller of FIRE was delighted “It has been a fantastic year for FIRE since our relaunch in 2005. We’ve got a brand new line up of great shows, a new music policy and a list of fantastic promotions! – Everybody at the station is very excited!”

FIRE is owned by TLRC and targets 15-34 year olds in Bournemouth and Poole.
