Former Xfm breakfast show host Christian O’Connell started his new breakfast show on Virgin Radio today.
The show featured his old team and breakfast news reader from Xfm.
He had been at Xfm since 2001, and is widely regarded as one of the best radio talents in the country, picking up three Gold awards at the Sony Awards last year.
He takes over from former presenters Pete and Geoff.
Also today, his former station Xfm has replaced The Storm on the majority of all GCap-owned local digital multiplexes.
