Sony nomination for noise fusion

Production company noise fusion has been shortlisted for a Sony Radio Academy Award. The award is in the Station Imaging category for the company?s work for Xfm.

This is not the first time noise fusion?s founder and creative director, Ben Neidle, has been nominated. Ben?s work for Xfm has won him three Sony Awards in the past four years, but this is his first nomination under the noise fusion banner. Ben told RadioToday.co.uk: ?I?m absolutely delighted to have again been shortlisted. The production guys at Xfm are a fantastic bunch and it?s great to be able to continue to work with them to break new ground?.

Since leaving Xfm in 2004 to concentrate on his own production company noise fusion, Ben and the team have gone on to produce audio branding for clients including The Brit Awards, Capital Radio, The Galaxy Network and Celador Television.

Samples of noise fusion?s work, including much of the audio contained in the shortlisted entry, can be found at www.noisefusion.com.

The nominations for the 2006 Sony Radio Academy Awards were announced on the evening of Tuesday 28 March at The Vinyl Factory, Soho. The winners will be announced at a ceremony in London?s Grosvenor House on 8 May.
