For the first time, Podcasting will be measured by RAJAR in the next diary, for figures that will be released in August 2006.
As a spokeswoman for RAJAR told Radiojam: “At the moment, anyone getting a RAJAR diary is told specifically by one of our interviewers to only measure radio they’ve listened to live, whatever platform that may be on. However, in the next diary, there will be a question asking whether or not people have listened to a podcast or listen again service.”
