Real Radio at 30 thousand feet

Real Radio in Scotland has entered a deal with Scotland?s low-fare airline flyglobespan to carry its audio content as part of its in-flight entertainment schedule with immediate effect.

Real Radio?s free in-flight programming will allow flyglobespan passengers to choose from Real Radio?s variety of unrivalled music and entertainment on two in-flight channels. ‘The Real Party in the Sky’ with Breakfast Show presenters Robin Galloway and Cat Harvey and relaxing music from Drivetime presenter Jay Crawford will broadcast on the airline until October 2006.

Real Radio?s in-house production team have specially created the content to broadcast on flyglobespan?s Glasgow to Florida route, which launched earlier this month making flights even more entertaining on the airlines modern Boeing 767- 300.

The deal further strengthens the ongoing relationship with flyglobespan who currently advertise on the station. Real Radio?s Managing Director Billy Anderson said ?This deal champions Real Radio?s ability to maximise all opportunities with its clients. We?re delighted to be involved with a brand that mirrors Real Radio?s growth and success in Scotland.?

Programme Director, Jay Crawford is delighted, ?This has always been an ambition of mine to feature on one of these in flight entertainment channels and I?m thrilled to be able to play some relaxing music for people as they fly back and forth across the Atlantic with flyglobespan? said Jay.

?We are delighted that Real Radio are contributing so positively to our in-flight entertainment,? says flyglobespan chairman Tom Dalrymple. ?We have had immediate favourable feedback from passengers on our Florida flights which proves that the overall package is working.?
