EXCLUSIVE: Anthony Ballard is set to join BFBS as a Presenter and Producer. He will be leaving his current role as Development Manager for the Radio Academy at the end of July and will start his new role in August.
Whilst at the Academy, Anthony has been responsible for gaining a higher profile for the organisation by expanding the website and introducing some clever marketing campaigns.
“I have really enjoyed working at the Academy and hope people throughout the industry now have a greater knowledge of what it does,” he said. “I am delighted to be joining BFBS and I look forward to the new challenges that broadcasting to the Armed Forces abroad will bring.”
Anthony has a strong history of Presenting, Programming and Station Management, mainly when he was part of the UKRD management team working with the Star brand in both Weston super Mare and Slough. He started his broadcasting career in Bangkok, where he spent 9 years mainly hosting a breakfast show and television presenting for both UBC and the Star TV network.
