GCap Media national station Classic FM is the latest radio station to launch a record label.

Classic FM Presents? will be produced in association with Sony BMG, with whom the station has already worked with in releasing albums in the past, including the most recent release Classic FM At The Movies. Classic FM Presents? will showcase young unsigned British classical artists. Speaking about the new venture, Classic FM Station Manager Darren Henley said: ?We?re on a mission to uncover major unsigned British talent ? Alfie Boe is the first of these stars for the future.?

Alfie Boe added: ?This is the next logical step in my career. I am so excited to be working with the team at Classic FM and Sony BMG on this, my debut album?.
