JK and Joel are one step closer to the weekday mainstream lineup on Radio 1, after the station announced a series of changes to its schedule from September. Murray has been moved from afternoons to weekday evenings. Edith Bowman will continue to present weekday afternoons between 1 and 4pm.
However, Radiojam has been told that this is in fact an intermediary step which will eventually see JK and Joel, currently presenting early breakfast and the chart show, being promoted to weekday afternoons.
