Ten applications for Liverpool

One thing is for sure – and that is Liverpool is about to get a new station which will either broadcast speech, rock music, or both! The news comes as Ofcom have announced they have received ten applications for the Liverpool FM commercial radio licence.

Two talk applications, five adult-based rock applications, and three which are a mixture of the two were submitted by the closing date of 3pm yesterday. Industry professionals are watching this one very carefully, and we’ll bring you the news over the coming days and months regarding the bidders.
