Dame Patricia Hodgson, DBE will be standing down from the GCap Media Board of Directors as of today, the company have announced.
Dame Patricia Hodgson joined the Board in May 2005, having previously served as a Director of GWR Group plc since January 2004, and is a member of the Audit Committee and the Nominations Committee of the Board.
Commenting on her decision to resign from the GCap Media plc Board, Dame Patricia Hodgson said: “Looking at my anticipated commitments at Cambridge and elsewhere I have concluded, with great reluctance, that I should withdraw from GCap Media. This is an exciting time for the company as technological changes present new opportunities for growth. I believe that GCap has the right team in place with a solid strategy and while I am no longer able to participate in its future, I wish my colleagues at GCap every success.”
GCap Media Chairman, Peter Cawdron commented: “Patricia has been a great asset to the Board, advising on a number of important strategic decisions and her expertise and experience will be missed. I would like to thank her for her significant contribution and wish her well with her other commitments.”
