Party Classics for bmi and Virgin

Virgin Radio has teamed up with airline bmi for the next three months to promote their million seat sale.

The promotion will focus on Virgin Radio Party Classics presented by Suggs on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6-10pm, with cross-promotion and competition rounds during the weekday line-up with Christian O?Connell, Martin Collins and Ben Jones. For the next three months, the airline will be encouraging Virgin Radio listeners to register and come up with an interesting fact about themselves to surprise Party Classics host and former Madness front man Suggs in an aim to raise awareness of its massive ticket sale by reaching a national audience of 25-44 year olds.

There will be three separate party trips during the campaign, flying to a different bmi destination each month. The campaign features a branded microsite at the new look giving listeners more chances to win prizes and engage with the bmi brand.

?Virgin Radio has delivered a really creative mechanic to bring our brand messages to millions of 25-44 year olds,? said Andrew Dufty, General Manager at bmi. ?This is a vital part of our marketing campaign to promote our million seat sale and show just what value-for-money and convenience people can enjoy with bmi."

"Some of the brightest talent across the whole of Virgin Radio will be involved in this long-term promotion for bmi,? said Nick Hewat, Sales Director at Virgin Radio. ?Martin Collins, Ben Jones and multi-Sony Award winner Christian O?Connell will all be engaging with audiences at different times of the day every day, while we leave the real partying to living legend Suggs. The money-can?t-buy prize will really get our listeners excited and listening hard to see how they can win with bmi.?

The first Suggs live broadcast and party session from a bmi destination will be this Friday September 15th with others to follow in October and November.
