Capital could get football boss

A report in the Times newspaper today suggests Birmingham City managing director Karren Brady is in talks with GCap Media to join the group as MD of Capital Radio, London.

According to the newspaper she has been in talks for several weeks and negotiations are at a highly sensitive stage.

Karren Brady became the first woman to be appointed as the managing director of an English football league club in 1993 and underwent surgery for a brain aneurysm earlier this year. According to friends of Brady, who has been dubbed “the first lady of football”, she is keen to return to the Capital.
