Rother FM launched at 10am Sunday 15th October with presenter James Marriott hosting the first show.
All the station presenters introduced themselves during the first day of broadcasting, with Richard Lee signed up to host the breakfast show from 6am Monday.
Rother FM is part of the Lincs FM Group and won the licence just five months ago in May. It's one of the quickest stations to commence broadcasting after a licence award from Ofcom.
UTV and TLRC also applied for the licence to serve Rotherham.
