Virgin Radio has recorded a solid performance in the latest RAJAR figures for both audience and length of listening.
Virgin reach in London is up 3.1% and nationally 1.6% quarter-on-quarter, with Virgin Radio Network figures held both quarter-on-quarter and year-on-year.
Paul Jackson, Virgin Radio’s Programme Director says “This is a really steady performance for the station. Everyone who listens to the Christian O’Connell Breakfast Show — still in its first year – knows that he’s really bedded in now and the show’s going great guns. Our internal tracking reflects this and we’re waiting for it to feed through to Rajar.”
Hours at Virgin Radio Classic Rock, the most successful digital station in the Virgin Radio network, are up 44% and reach is up 20% quarter-on-quarter.
