Town and Country Broadcasting has appointed Martin Mumford as Group Managing Director.
Martin was recently responsible for the recent launch of Brunel FM in Swindon. It marks a return to Town and Country Broadcasting for Martin, having previously been its Group Commercial Director last year.
Chief Executive Jason Bryant said; “I am delighted to welcome Martin back at such an exciting time for our business. He was responsible for impressive revenue growth at both Radio Pembrokeshire and Radio Carmarthenshire and will prove an important additional management resource as we continue to grow the business.”
Martin is an experienced radio manager across sales, programming, and administration, and will be focused on delivering station profitability targets to the Board. He was responsible for the successful launch of Rugby FM in 2002 which delivered a reach of 42% and a market share of 22% under his leadership.
Martin said “‘I can’t wait to get back to the offices in Neath and Narbeth to help the teams continue to build revenues and audiences. With the newly launched 102.1 Swansea Bay Radio and new licence applications in Herefordshire, Monmouthshire and South Wales, it’s going to be a very busy time at the Group.”
