Hazlitt out of SMG boss race

The chief executive of Virgin Radio Fru Hazlitt has withdrawn herself as a potential CEO of parent company SMG. It was recently widely reported the ex-Yahoo! UK boss would take the position, which has been empty since Andrew Flanagan stood down in July.

The report, from the FT suggests that people familiar with the situation said Hazlitt may decide to leave altogether.
