SMG have confirmed they have entered into discussions with the UTV Board once again which may or may not lead to a merger. At the same time, UTV has confirmed it made a further approach to SMG on November 23rd 2006.
In addition, the search process for a new CEO for SMG has been suspended while merger discussions progress.
