More FM networking at Emap

The late night slot on Emap stations Viking FM, Radio Aire and Hallam FM is set to be networked from this evening with a new show hosted by Ian Skye and Vix Larder. The Confessional will air five nights a week, Sunday to Thursday, starting tonight (April 29th).

It comes just weeks after the evening show on Big City stations operated by Emap joined together across the North of England to broadcast In Demand with Rich and Luce. The networked evening show, which is aired on nine FM stations, started life on just two stations, thought to be a test before it was rolled out to a wider network.

Over the last few months Emap have been making significant numbers of staff redundant from radio stations all over the group, following profit warnings. Already they have announced three stations in Ireland are up for sale.
