A popular radio presenter in the Caribbean was found dead today after being kidnapped in Haiti last week. Francois Latour, who presented a daily talk show on Caraibes FM, is the second radio presenter to be gunned down on the island in the last week.
Gerin Alexandre, news director at Caraibes FM told Reuters he was killed with a bullet to the stomach after being kidnapped by unidentified gunmen. "The kidnappers had demanded a $100,000 ransom for Latour, but hours later his body was found dumped on the side of a Delmas street," Gerin said.
