Emap station Magic 105.4 is entering into the world of organising live events in London, and arranging sponsorship deals to cover costs, and raise money for charity. A new deal worth £150,000 sees the station put on a Simply Red concert at Open Air Theatre, Regents Park.
This is the first time Magic has worked with a sponsor on an event. They will promote a series of competitions both on air and online in August for listeners to win 60 of family tickets. Money will be raised for Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity through a text ballot for tickets which will also be promoted on air.
Alison Finch, Magic 105.4 Commercial Director said: "Magic is very excited to have created a series of live events available for sponsorship and delighted to have Visit London on board. It will demonstrate how sponsors can match their target audience through all Magic touchpoints."
