FM107.9 has launched a search for a new local Oxford personality. The winner will join Adam and Anna on FM107.9’s Breakfast Fiasco, and awarded a three month contract to host their own shows on the station. Potential radio stars can upload their demo at the stations website.
The "Are you the FM107.9 Radiostar?" open auditions will be held at Oxford United FC’s annual Open Day on Saturday July 7th from 12:30 till 4pm. They will be judged on the day with four finalists selected to go into the on air final.
FM107.9’s General Manager Ian Walker said: “This is a great opportunity for anyone who’s always dreamed of being on the radio to get a foot in the door and start their broadcasting career. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never had any experience of radio before, we’re looking for the ideal person who can express themselves and has that little bit of something unique. I’m looking forward to seeing the results!”
