Real Radio Scotland has picked up the Radio Sales Team of the Year at the Scottish Media Awards. The award was presented to Sales Director Agnes Cassells at the ceremony held at Glasgow’s Crown Plaza. It’s the second sales award for the company, with GMG Radio picking up a similar title at the Drum Awards recently.
Billy Anderson, managing director for GMG Radio Scotland commented, “We pride ourselves on giving our clients what they need, rather than what we need to sell and that is the foundation for our sales formula, but also clearly the foundation for an award such as this. We are all delighted and very proud to be the number one sales team in radio within Scotland”.
