Comedian for Merseyside show

Liverpool comedian Sean Styles is set to take over the mid-morning show on BBC Radio Merseyside. Sean currently hosts a Sunday show on the station with co-host and comedy partner Willie Millar, but he will go it alone each morning from 10am till midday from August 28th.

Sean says: “It is an exciting time to be getting a regular daily programme coming at the time of 2008 Capital of Culture and I am looking forward to having a lot of fun around it as well talking about topics that really matter to the people of Merseyside."

Acting Managing Editor, Phil Roberts, says: "Sean has a very engaging style and I know the audience with love the content we have planned for the programme. With both Snelly and Sean we have a compelling morning line up."
