The local radio station for Barrow-in-Furness in Cumbria has secured the talent of BBC television presenter Dave Myers. Known as one of the Hairy Bikers, Barrow-born Dave will co-host the Sunday afternoon show on 107.3 Abbey FM with local presenter John Little.
Dave has been a guest on the show in the past, and because the two got on well together, programme controller Colin Yare said it seemed like a natural move to pair the two together on the same show.
Colin told RadioToday.co.uk: "We are pleased that Dave Myers has chosen to join our team here at Abbey FM, it is a major scoop for us to have an international TV personality with us as we approach the end of our first year on air."
The Sunday Lunch programme airs from 12pm to 4pm and is also available online at abbeyfm.co.uk.
