Former BBC Radio 1 presenter Andy Kershaw has pleaded guilty to drink-driving and breaching a restraining order which banned him from approaching his ex-girlfriend. He was arrested and spent six nights in the cell last month.
Andy admitted the offenses as he appeared in court on the Isle of Man today where he and his former partner live. The 48 year old Radio 3 presenter, originally from Rochdale, Greater Manchester, turned up to court wearing jeans and a green jacket and baseball pumps. On exiting the courtroom, he told awaiting reporters how he had lost everything – his kids, and the woman he loves.
