Ford signs up for Heat Radio

Ford will be one of a maximum of five VIP sponsors on the new Heat Radio when it launches on Tuesday 25th September. The car manufacturer has signed a six-figure deal with the digital Emap station, which will broadcast sponsor messages rather than traditional adverts.

Ford will feature on Paul Coyte's weekday morning 9am to 12pm show, which will combine entertainment news with listener interaction, competitions and features centred on Ford.

Karen Stacey, Emap Advertising's director of interactive and radio sales, said: "We're delighted to welcome Ford to all new heat radio. As advertisers try to connect with their consumers at a deeper level it becomes increasingly more important to innovate in product and content. Ford is a great brand for our consumers to interact with across all of heat's platforms."
