Raeburn dropped from LBC

Afternoon show presenter and former Sony Award winner Anna Raeburn has left LBC 97.3FM, just weeks after the station was taken over by Global Radio. Anna is the only female radio presenter to hold all three Sony Awards, Gold, Silver and Bronze. Programme Director Scott Solder has also departed the station to be replaced by Jonathan Richards.

Scott has left the station to start a non-radio business, according to reports. Alison Bell is currently covering the 2-4pm weekday afternoon show until a decision is made about the slot.

Anna Raeburn won a gold Sony award in 1998 and a bronze Sony award in 2007, for speech broadcaster of the year. She was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame in December 2006.
