Fresh from winning the Best Use of Online for Marketing a Radio Station at the recent Promotions and Marketing Awards, Juice FM has signed a month long deal with drinks manufacturer WKD to broadcast online at the radio station's own YouTube style website.
JuiceTube.net lets listeners upload and share their videos online, and the new sponsor deal will encompass on-air, off-air and on-line activity as the site helps search for the WKD side of citizens of Liverpool. ‘60 second stand up with WKD’ launches on 1st November.
Iain Fowler, 107.6 Juice FM, station director, said: “We’ve been amazed by the traffic the site is generating and we are already in a position where the site is beginning to realise revenues. This award reflects the amount of work that has gone in to developing the site over the past year and we look forward to taking the site to the next level in 2008.
“One of the major draws for the site is our constantly refreshed music video content which is a perfect fit for the radio station. As a station, 107.6 Juice FM is going from strength to strength and the online growth is testament to that fact. Watch out Liverpool!”
