GMG Radio has appointed Jane Davies as sales director for its Smooth Radio station in the west midlands. Jane joins Smooth Radio from BRMB where she is currently Head of Sales and will take up the position, based in Birmingham, on 7th January next year.
Jane joins Smooth Radio after having spent just under four years at BRMB. Prior to that, she spent three years at The Wolf as sales director and 10 years as sales manager for Beacon Radio. In all Jane has spent nearly 17 years building a formidable reputation in sales across the area.
Jane said: “I am delighted to be joining Smooth Radio at such an exciting time and looking forward to accelerating growth and development around the Smooth brand. Smooth Radio provides a real opportunity for advertisers and listeners across the West Midlands and I am looking forward to maximising and developing both existing and new relationships in the marketplace.”
