Congratulations to BBC Radio 1 afternoon presenter Edith Bowman who has announced she is expecting her first child. The 32 year old and her partner described it as the best Christmas present they could have wished for.
The father is her partner – Editors frontman Tom Smith – and the baby is due in June 2008.
Edith's radio career has included stints at Capital FM in 2001-2002 before teaming up with Colin Murray for Colin and Edith in the afternoon on Radio 1.
