606 makes the move to TV

BBC Radio 5 Live's football phone-in show 606 is making its debut on television this Wednesday with host Tim Lovejoy.

Digital television viewers can watch the programme by pressing the red button and see Tim presenting the show as well as texts from listeners, league tables, news and sport updates and other information.
Radio 5 Live already carries certain Barclays Premier League commentaries via the BBC red button in its interactive update Score, which attracted over 300,000 viewers in its launch week to its commentaries and rolling information.
Tim Lovejoy, who found fame fronting Sky's anarchic Soccer AM show, has presented the Wednesday edition of 606 since the start of the football season on 5 Live.
He said of his new venture: "I'll have to dress properly to make my 606 telly debut but it's still the same anger, passions, misery and joys as every week only with pictures and texts!"
