JACK fm has launched a major marketing campaign with a 30 second television commercial at the heart of it, featuring a dancer on stage strutting his stuff.
The character is dancing how he wants, which is part of a wider campaign by the station to ask listeners to send in video clips of them dancing how they want. The station is looking for the grooviest mover across Oxfordshire with the best winning a holiday.
The search is sponsored by Hartwell Ford & Vauxhall and in association with local media partner Oxford Mail online. Auditionees will have sixty seconds to shake their thang to a range of JACK fm's favourite songs – so knowing JACK, there'll be a curveball or two thrown in.
The JACK Audience will be able to watch the auditions online at www.playingwhatwewant.co.uk and cast votes to decide on who should win. It's all part of a county-wide marketing campaign which includes TV, posters, newspapers, online and radio.
