The national DAB network for GCap Media's Digital One network has extended with a new transmitter for the Yorkshire Coast. The new relay in Whitby will serve 30,000 people who were previously unable to receive national stations such as theJazz and Planet Rock.
Meanwhile a report yesterday suggests GCap are looking to sell its majority stake in the multiplex. More details are expected to be released when newly installed chief executive Fru Hazlitt outlines her plans for the company this Monday (11th February).
