Boxing star Amir Khan has been taking time out from his training to help out Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile, which is back by his local station Tower FM.
The UTV-Radio owned station provided the entertainment with breakfast presenter Vix on stage warming up the crowd at a training event taking place at a local park.
Senior station director, Mike Baker, said: “Sainsbury are a client at 107.4 Tower FM and approached us to get involved. We were delighted to help this worthwhile cause and provided all the staging, PA and entertainment at Leverhulme Park.
“It was great that Amir Khan was able to join us and it made all the difference to the people taking part that he showed his support.”
Khan said: "I’m always listening to Tower FM. It’s my local station and I want to support it."
