Ditchy back in Manchester

David Ditchfield is returning to the north-west to join 105.4 Century Radio’s breakfast show, just months after leaving Bauer Radio's flagship station Key 103.

Ditchy is the third breakfast presenter for the GMG Radio station in the past 15 months.
Born and bred in Stockport, he joins the station from Real Radio in Yorkshire, also owned by GMG Radio, where he currently presents the drive-time show. Before that, he hosted the same slot on Key 103 in Manchester for two years.
Ditchy will join current co-hosts Paul Salt and Debbie Ousbey between 6-10am every weekday from early May.
Speaking to Radio Today, Ditchy said: “This a dream gig for me and I can’t wait to get stuck in. Any presenter will tell you that, despite the early starts, weekday breakfast is just the best show to be involved with.
Andy Carter, managing director of Century Radio, said: “Ditchy is the perfect presenter for breakfast as he’s bright, energetic and creative, and we're confident we’ll have a winning breakfast formula on our hands.”
A new drivetime presenter for Real Radio in Yorkshire is expected to be announced shortly.
