Global Traffic Network have signed Ofcom executive Will Jackson to join the company as Contract Manager to handle the forthcoming Traffic Radio service for the Highways Agency.
Will has previously worked at BBC and commercial radio stations, and managed travel news services including Metro Networks and digital station Travel Now.
Managing Director Paul Hutton says “It’s fantastic to have Will joining the team. Having worked with him before, I know how he’s always brimming with ideas and enthusiasm and never tolerates anything less than the best. His appointment is another clear sign that Global Traffic Network hires the best people to provide the best service”.
Global Traffic Network UK serves Absolute Radio’s Jack FM and the UKRD group, and last week won the contract to serve Traffic Radio services across England.
