International music DJ Paul Oakenfold is returning to Kiss Radio as the latest high profile signing as a Kiss Ambassador.
He will present a series of special music programmes charting the history of dance music from the last 20 years, beginning with a special Ibiza weekend broadcast from 27th June 2008.
The dance DJ will become Kiss’s second high profile ambassador supporting and representing the many facets of Kiss this year, joining the likes of Green Ambassador Richard Branson's son Sam, as the station aspires to educate, entertain and engage its listeners.
Paul was part of the orignal pirate line-up in 1985 but has since made a name for himself creating music for Hollywood films such as The Matrix Reloaded and television programmes such as Big Brother. He also re-mixes tracks for music artists including Madonna and Elvis.
Andy Roberts, group programme director for Kiss Radio said: “We’re delighted to have Paul back on the station – from the original Kiss line up on Kiss 100 in 1985 to becoming one of the original superstar DJs – it’s great to get his take on where dance music is now.”
