UTV appoints senior presenter

UTV Radio has appointed Chris Milow as senior presenter across 102.4 Wish FM, 107.4 Tower FM and 107.2 Wire FM.

Milow will continue to be based at 102.4 Wish FM presenting the breakfast show but will now work closely with Brian Paige, the group’s senior programmer North West, to further develop the programming at all three stations.

The former Red Dragon FM and Radio Wyvern presenter spent 8 years at Liverpool’s Radio City and Magic 1548, presenting on both stations and anchoring their football coverage.

He joined UTV Radio two years ago and was appointed breakfast presenter at 102.4 Wish FM in January 2007 and then senior presenter in December 2007.

John Dash, group programme director said: “UTV Radio is committed to investing in its key staff and Chris will have a key role in driving through our strategy of improving the quality of service we provide to listeners.”
