BBC secures Chelsea coverage

BBC London 94.9FM is the new home of commentary for all Chelsea Football Club's matches, including Champions League fixtures, after a new deal was agreed with the London club.

The station already provides commentaries of Premier League clubs Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United, as well as Charlton Athletic and QPR in the Championship.
Matches will broadcast on BBC London 94.9FM and BBC London digital radio, with full Blues commentary available on the BBC London and Chelsea FC websites.
David Robey, editor of BBC London 94.9 says: "To have one of the top football clubs in the country and the world on BBC London 94.9 is a great addition to our sports output. We are really looking forward to working with Chelsea, not just providing commentaries, but covering all the club's activities on and off the field, especially in the local community of west London."
