New Glasgow base for Trafficlink

Trafficlink now has permanently based staff at Traffic Scotland’s Control Centre, serving a number of Scottish stations including Real Radio, Talk 107 and Kingdom FM.

Speaking about the move Roy Brannan, Transport Scotland’s Head of Network Operations, said: “We are pleased to build on our established relationship with Trafficlink and are looking forward to working with them in our National Control Centre.

This means we can supply the general public with the most accurate information on Radio today. Trafficlink provides travel news to 42 million people a week through local radio bulletins. They also provide real time traffic and travel date to satnav users, information websites such as theaa.com and many mobile phone services.
