106.5 Central Radio's recent interview with Syd Little reveals how Robbie Williams dreams about the little and large comedian.
The intimate details of Robbie’s night-time thoughts were spilled when Syd was a guest on the Scott Wright show and he recalled a chance phone call he had with the singer.
Syd told listeners how he had been asked to visit a very sick girl in Alder Hey hospital in Liverpool and, as he was sat by her bedside, he noticed the walls were full of Robbie Williams posters. After leaving the ward, Syd decided to get in touch with Robbie
Speaking on 106.5 Central Radio, Syd said: “I couldn't’t believe it when Robbie rang me up and I just thought it was Bobby Davro winding me up doing an impression."
“Robbie then went on to say that he had recurring dreams, almost nightmares, which involved Little and Large but, now that he’d spoken to me, the dream had been broken.”
Syd, aged 65, who lives in Lancashire went on to recount the international artists that he and Eddie Large worked with over an amazing 47 year career.
Chris Buckley, programme controller at Central Radio, said: “Of all the things that you would expect Robbie Williams to be dreaming about in bed, Syd Little isn’t one of them! It was a great story and, judging by the reaction on the phones, the listeners loved it as well.”
