Radio City presenter Kev Seed has pleaded guilty to drink-driving charges brought against him in court today.
In light of the news, bosses at the Bauer station have suspended him from his programme until they decide his future at the company.
Richard Maddock, station director at Radio City told RadioToday.co.uk: "Radio City condemns the act of drink-driving and over the years has actively worked on campaigns to address the issue across Merseyside, the North West and North Wales.
Following Kev Seed’s admission of guilt this afternoon, he will remain suspended from his on air duties pending a decision about his future at the radio station.
We will release a further statement in due course."
