Louis Hurst returns to Kent

Former Radio City and Juice presenter Louis Hurst has returned to his home county of Kent, and has signed up to host KMFM's network evening show.

Louis started his radio career at Invicta FM aged 16, since then he has worked on numerous stations all over the UK making his name at Radio City in Liverpool where he presented his evening show the Large Portion for many years before leaving to present the breakfast show on Juice FM in 2005.
“I got really disillusioned with the radio industry and decided to pursue other ventures” Louis told Radio Today. “However when I was back home in Kent looking after my Mum, I was offered some weekend shows at Invicta FM and it really inspired me again and I am now looking forward to starting a new chapter in my life and building an evening show all over again on my home turf in Kent”
Louis’ new show titled the Evening Republic will be broadcast on all seven of the KM stations and on KM’s digital DAB service.
A spokesperson for KMFM said: "Louis is an extremely experienced presenter who has delivered some amazing audiences in other parts of the country where he has worked. We are thrilled that Louis has decided to place his next broadcasting challenge with us here at KMFM”
Louis’ new evening show starts on KMFM Network on October 13th 2008.
