Two former actors from the Channel 4 television show Hollyoaks have signed a deal to join Liverpool’s Radio City 96.7 for a month, to host a Sunday afternoon programme.
Matt Littler and Darren Jeffries, who played best friends Max and OB in the soap for over ten years and will now take on the Entertainment City show throughout December, every Sunday from 1pm till 4pm.
The pair will host celebrity interviews, discuss showbiz gossip and play the best current chart music. Matt and Darren are covering for regular host Rick Vaughn who is tied up in panto in Southport.
Euan McMorrow, programme controller said: “Matt & Darren will be a fantastic addition to our line up. They are a lively pair with a great chemistry that has been proven on screen and will work wonders on air. And with their celebrity contacts, the showbiz section of the show will be jam packed!”
