Alistair MacKenzie quits TLRC

Alistair MacKenzie has resigned as a director of the The Local Radio Company. His departure comes just weeks after former executive chairman Richard Wheatly left the group.

MacKenzie will leave with immediate effect to pursue other personal business interests, the company said today in a statement.
Commenting on his departure, Anthony Gumbiner, Non-Executive Chairman, said, “We would like to thank Alistair for the contribution he has made to the Company over the years and wish him well in the future”.
Town and Country Broadcasting owner Jason Bryant was appointed as managing director of TLRC's local radio unit in December.
