UTV Radio has today announced that Chris Hurst is parting company with UTV as part of the group’s ongoing restructuring programme. Hurst, who has been with the company for more than eighteen years, will depart on the 31st January.
Hurst, in his role as Group Managing Director – ILRs, played a major part in the development of the division, helping it grow from one station to its current raft of seventeen. He will continue in his role as Chairman of Dee 106.3 in Chester.
Hurst said: “I have had the pleasure of working alongside some very talented individuals and we have had some tremendous high points… I wish everyone at UTV all the best for the future”.
A spokesman for UTV added: "Chris has been a longstanding and popular member of the team and all at UTV wish him the very best with his future endeavours."
