Xfm have announced that Franz Ferdinand will be the latest band to host The Xfm Residency, joining the station in February and following the likes of Johnny Borrell, Damon Albarn and the Kings of Leon.
The specialist one-hour show lets an artist or band take over the airwaves, giving them the chance to play the music they love. It airs at 9pm on Sunday for four weeks during the month of February, the first show will be broadcast on 1st February.
Adam Uytman, Programme Controller for Xfm London said “The calibre of acts that have been up for hosting The Xfm Residency since it launched in April 2007 has been astounding. We are very pleased that Franz Ferdinand will be hosting the Residency in February, and are yet another of our big core acts to join presenter line up for the month.”
